This month will be highly productive, and you will be on your A-game, moving through your daily rounds with the speed of light. Mars just moved into Capricorn on September 27, to stay until the rest of October. This means you will see that there’s much to be done at the office and at home. You’ll need to keep lists, and possibly add people in your office to help you shoulder the extra work. The holidays are coming, but October will allow you to get things done before party invitations start to arrive in your email in November and December. Mars in Capricorn will allow you to show off your organizational skills and choose the best methods for all you need to do. It appears you will be appropriating funds in forming a budget as well, because Capricorn is a financial sign, also known for being practical and realistic when making decisions.

In addition to long-distance travel, you also seem to have a superb chance to travel short distances, and because nature is especially beautiful in this part of the year, consider driving into the countryside to admire the beautiful colors of the leaves. In north hemispheres, Mother Mature has painted all the leaves vibrant colors of red, gold, and orange, and in the southern hemispheres, spring is in bloom, with pastel pinks, pale yellows, lilacs, and the light green of new grass and leaves. It’s no wonder that Venus rules the signs born at this time of the year, Libra and those born in May, Taurus. Venus beautifies all that she touches.

Writing, speaking, translating, editing, negotiating, and all sorts of skills associated with communication will be front and center for you as you begin the month. The new moon that appeared in Libra on September 30 will be one of the sweetest of the year for these activities, so choose one and get started. You might want to ask your designer to create your logo if you want to start a website or blog. It’s also the ideal time to print new stationery or your invitations to your wedding, or if you have a business, to launch an advertising or publicity campaign. Travel taken in early October will also be spectacular – choose a location not too far from home for relaxing, romantic fun. If you need to sign a contract in October, or want to ask your agent to sell your book or screenplay idea, ask her to present on October 5 or 10. (Those are also two great days for travel.)

Jupiter will orbit in alignment to the Sun, which will be fantastic for you in the first week, so make your biggest initiations for then. The Sun is your ruler, so this first week should be memorable and exciting, especially October 1, 3, 4, and 5.

Travel will also be emphasized at the full moon, October 16, but this point in the month would be time to remain home – but having said that, it may not be possible for you to do that. You seem to have a goal you need to reach by traveling, perhaps to have a face-to-face with the client who is based at a distance, and that assignment is coming to a critical mass. Uranus will bring an unpredictable environment, so you may have delays, and because this trip appears to be for work, you are not likely to get the positive outcome you had expected. If you plan to travel to supervise a job, workers may assume they understand the finer points of what is being asked of them, but actually may not, putting you in the role of asking them to correct mistakes.

Full moons bring a lot of high-level energy that you feel for four days before and after they occur, but once the matter is settled within that time, it will be done and not be discussed or reopened later. Do not sign any agreement October 20 or October 28, as Mercury will be at odds with Uranus the first day, and on October 28, Uranus will conflict with Mars, opening the possibility you won’t like the agreement and wonder why you entered into it in the first place. Travel will not go easily either.

Your home and property may be on your mind at month’s end. For a long time, you’ve been thinking about where and in what style you’d like to live. TheOctober 29 new moon will help you finalize the answer. In fact, this will be the best point in 2016 to look into your options, thanks to this friendly new moon, the only one to arrive in your fourth house of home this year. Neptune will be brought into the conversation, so protect against possible problems with water. However, Neptune has an upside too, so if you are working on a home design or decorating project, this new moon will bring up many beautiful ideas for you to consider. If you are organized, you can get all done before the year-end holidays and, as you get closer to December, invite friends in to admire your stylish choices, and flair for entertaining.
